The Environment Outreach Team has continued to be in contact with local environmental groups to keep them updated of our progress, and to deliver the message that we are facing not just a local problem, but one that impacts many communities throughout Massachusetts.  The fact that we are all dealing with a flawed process that is expensive to challenge is a classic issue of environmental justice.  We are confident that this message will eventually enable us to build a broad base of support throughout the environmental community.  This support will further our efforts in solving our local problem in Sudbury as well as addressing the systemic process issues.

We have reached out to additional groups in the past couple weeks and were pleased by the letter written by Libby Herland of US Fish and Wildlife to Eversource.  Also, the Friends of Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge, which Libby manages, wrote a letter to Eversource and many other stakeholders voicing their opposition to the project.  We are grateful for all of these voices from the environmental community.
