The Fundraising team is putting the finishing touches on our Family Field Day, Trail Walk and Barbecue! Come enjoy the day with us, Saturday, June 18th from 10 am – 3 pm at Stone Tavern Farm (Horse Pond Rd. entrance). The day promises to be jam-packed with fun for all. We’ll begin the day by walking a short part of the trail together, led by members of Sudbury Fife & Drum. We will return to the field for a cookout catered by Sudbury’s own, Nick Chunias, owner of Juliana’s Catering which will include hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, salads, mac & cheese, watermelon and homemade pizza fresh from Nick’s portable pizza oven! The afternoon will have face painting, arts & crafts and games for all ages including volleyball, kickball, capture the flag, tug of war and frisbee. We will also be selling raffle tickets for $5/ticket or 5 for $20 for a chance to win Red Sox tickets, Lowell Spinners tickets, a 90 minute massage from Invidia as well as a host of gift cards from local retailers!
Please visit: http://www.protectsudbury.org/family-fun/ to purchase tickets. Spread the word to all neighbors who might not be on this mailing list and remember to buy your tickets early! Grab a blanket & chair and join us for what promises to be a great community day!
