Please join the effort to save our town!
As you may know, thousands of Sudbury citizens, along with numerous elected officials and state and federal agencies have banded together to stop Eversource’s plan to install high voltage transmission lines through our neighborhoods, historic districts and conservation land. These transmission lines would forever change the character of Sudbury, damage conservation areas, and negatively affect property values, reducing our towns overall tax revenue.
Richard Kanoff of Burns and Levinson, a highly regarded utility attorney represents the Protect Sudbury community in this fight. Quality legal representation is our best bet to win, and it is costly. $150,000 is needed now not only to help pay existing and future legal fees, but also for things like expert witnesses who will testify on our community’s behalf, in hearings that begin in the fall.
