Comments now due!

Now that Eversource has filed its petition with the Energy Facilities Siting Board (docket EFSB17-02) and we’ve had our public hearing, we know a lot more about what Eversource is actually planning. We had some fantastic comments at the hearing on May 25th – thank you to everyone who attended and who commented.

Please also submit your comments by June 15th, whether or not you attended the hearing. Write your concerns about the transmission line project and email them, with reference to EFSB 17-02: dpu.efiling@state.ma.us AND Stephen.August@state.ma.us. You can also snail mail them to: Stephen August, Esq., Energy Facilities Siting Board, One South Station, Boston, Massachusetts, 02110.

If you missed the hearing or you’re just looking for inspiration from some of the speakers that night, highlights of some of the comments can be found on a special playlist on Protect Sudbury’s YouTube channel. You can also read transcripts of some of the comments and watch the entire video on Sudbury TV. There is also an updated “numbers redux” blog  with lots of facts and figures for your reference.

Getting the EFSB to take a very close look at the Eversource petition and keeping their feet to the fire with our legal team and hired experts are our very best routes to stopping Eversource in its tracks. Help keep it going by setting up your recurring donation to the Protect Sudbury legal fund.
